Jaganmohan Reddy replicating Mamata Banerjee’s political model in Andhra: BJP

New Delhi, Oct 27 : BJP on Monday alleged that the government led by Jaganmohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh has indulged in corruption and threatened the local people to vote for the party in the upcoming bye-election to Badwel Assembly constituency.

“Efforts are being made to replicate the political model of Mamata Banerjee in Andhra Pradesh” BJP Andhra Pradesh Incharge Sunil Deodhar said while addressing a press conference here Today.

“Reddy is using the government machinery to intimidate the voters to vote for the party and this is happening for long,” he alleged.

He said the YSRCP leaders are also threatening the government employees that if they do not vote for YSRCP then we will not let you get the benefits of government schemes. We have informed the Election Commission about this,” he said

“Till date, in the history of India, there has never been such a thing that the Chief Minister of YSRCP is doing that the salaries ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 are being given to the priests from the government fund and official tender is being floated for the construction of the church,” Deodhar said.

The by-election to Badvel Assembly constituency in Kadapa district will be held on October 30.

The bye-poll was necessitated due to the death of sitting YSRC MLA G Venkatasubbaiah in March this year.(UNI)
