Thane, Oct 27 : Thane district reported 128 new COVID cases and six deaths in last 24 hours, the authorities informed today.
With this, a total number of infection count has mounted to 5,64,931 and fatalities have spiked to 11486.
The mortality rate was 2.03 per cent, he added.
In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 1,37,865 while the death toll was 3,282 ,an official from Palghar said.(UNI)
