Hyderabad, Oct 21 : Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed her happiness over India reaching one billion Covid-19 vaccination milestone.
Speaking after visiting ESI Hospital at Sanathnagar here today, she said it is a victory for the country’s doctors and medical professionals.
Dr Soundararajan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the feat, adding, that she was proud that the vaccines were indigenously produced in the country.
The Governor said, ignoring rumours everybody should take the COVID-19 vaccination. Most of the people who had been admitted to ICUs in the hospitals were the ones who did not take the jab, she added.(UNI)
