New Delhi, Oct 20 : Delhi Government would organise a massive celebration on October 23 to mark the occasion of ‘Valmiki Prakashotsav,’ Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced today.

“From 11 AM at Thyagraj Stadium, Delhi Government will celebrate ‘Valmiki Prakatosav’ on a massive scale. I would like to invite everyone there,” he said.

The announcement was made by Kejriwal while paying his obeisance at the Valmiki temple situated in Central Delhi on Wednesday evening.

The Delhi CM also said that this is the first time that Valmiki Prakashotsav would be centrally celebrated.

“For the last three-four years, we have been financially supporting colonies which organise the celebration on a small level. This would be the first time that we will celebrate Valmiki Prakatotsav on such a large scale,” he added.(UNI)
