The US authorities, as part of their investigation into the origins of Covid-19allegedly, obtained a paper titled ‘The unnatural origin of SARS and new species of man-made viruses as genetic bioweapons’ written by Chinese military scientists and senior public health officials in 2015.

A report on the paper was published by The Australian newspaper as a teaser for a book ‘What Really Happened in Wuhan.’ Part-thriller, part-expose the book is a ground-breaking investigation into the origins of COVID-19, the cover-ups, the conspiracies, and the classified research from SharriMarkson, Investigations Editor of the newspaper.

The newspaper states further that SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) coronaviruses were a ‘new era of genetic weapons’ that could be artificially manipulated into an emerging human disease virus weaponized and unleashed. The authors of the document list some of China’s top public health figures.

Some of these authors are People’s Liberation Army scientists and weapon experts and they predicted a World War III fought with the biological weapons causing the enemy’s medical system to collapse. The paper also included that the SARS which hit China in 2003 could have been a man-made bioweapon.

So far there is no conclusive proof that Covid-19 was leaked from a lab accidentally or intentionally. Dr. TedrosAdhanomGhebreyesus, Chief of the WHO however wants more investigation into this angle.

China is known to carrying out a high-risk gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology creating new variants that spread and kill faster. Executive Director of the ASPI (Australian Strategic Policy Institute) Peter Jennings said that the document may explain why China is so reluctant for an outside investigation into the origins of Covid-19.

The UK and Australian politicians said the document raises major concerns about China’s transparency on the origins. China’s state-run newspaper Global Times criticized The Australian for publishing the article and said, “…An embarrassing article that smears China over the origins of Covid-19, twisting the book’s content to support its own conspiracy theory.”
