Chennai, Oct 7 : In a bid to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure to combat an
anticipated spike in Covid-19 spread ahead of the festive season, Rodic Consultants Private Limited today donated an ISO-certified 20 MT cryogenic container to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hopsital (RGGGH) here.
The Cryogenic Container has been imported from Dubai and will be used for transportation and storage of Liquid Medical Oxygen.
The initiative undertaken as part of Corporate Social Responsibility, will strengthen the supply chain and ensure timely oxygen supply to hospitals as part of the preparation for the anticipated third wave, a company release said.
The cryogenic container was handed over Hospital Dean Dr E Theranirajan by Mr. Sukhvinder Singh Daid, AVP, Finance, Rodic Consultants.
Thanking the company for this initiative, Dr.Theranirajan said with the upcoming festive season, it is imperative to be extra vigilant and step up preparedness and resilience against the anticipated third wave.
The cryogenic container will aid in the transportation and storage of liquid medical oxygen, thereby alleviating the hardships of critical COVID -19 patients.(UNI)
