Police bust human trafficking racket, 7 held
Hyderabad, Oct 7 : The city police has busted women trafficking racket by arresting seven persons, including six Bangladeshi nationals.
Police seized five Bangladeshi National ID cards, one Bangladesh nation Passport ( Xerox), 4 fake Aadhar cards and 10 cell phones from their possession.
On credible information, the sleuths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone team in association with SR Nagar Police arrested seven persons including six Bangladesh Nationals ( 2 male & 4 female) in the limits of SR Nagar police station, a police release said Thursday.
A few years back, the accused who illegally entered into India from Bangladesh without any valid documents stayed few years at Mumbai and recently came to Hyderabad for organizing prostitution with their nation ladies.
The modus operandi was that the traffickers/ agents targets the Bangladesh national women who are facing financial problems. They have promised them that they arrange good jobs in India but once the victims arrived into India (at a city), the traffickers or agents forced them into prostitution by providing fake and forged Aadaar cards.
The traffickers with the help of local agents trafficking Bangladeshi women from one city to another city and gain illegal easy money by organizing prostitution.
The apprehended accused persons along with seized property handed over to SHO, SR Nagar Police Station for taking necessary action, the release added.(UNI)
