Aurangabad / Mumbai, Oct 6 : Maharashtra today reported 2,876 fresh Covid-19 patients and 90 fatalities in a single day, taking the state’s cumulative case tally to 65,67,791 and the toll to 1,39,362, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 2,763 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 63,91,662.
The state’s recovery rate further improved to 97.32 per cent, while the fatality rate was steady at 2.12 per cent.
There are now 33,181 active cases in the state, added the bulletin.(UNI)
