J&K records 110 fresh COVID positive cases, no death or mucormycosis reported

Srinagar, Sep 30: Jammu and Kashmir recorded 110 fresh COVID positive cases during the past 24 hours, when there was no death or mucormycosis case.
Officials said this evening that out of 110 new positive cases, 26 were from the Jammu division and 84 from Kashmir.


However, they said 153 COVID-19 patients recovered– 26 from Jammu Division and 127 from Kashmir Division—during the period, they said.
No new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported today, he said.


He said during the past 24 hours a total of 52,532 COVID tests were being conducted.

The total no of active positive cases within the UT is 1345 cases– 299 in Jammu Division and 1046 in Kashmir Division.


Srinagar, where lockdown has been imposed in ten municipal wards, recorded the highest 45 fresh cases in the J&K during the past 24 hrs.

Baramulla recorded 15 corona-positive cases followed by Badgam seven, five cases each in Anantnag and Bandipora, Ganderba four, Kupwara two, and Kulgam one.

There was no positive case in Shopian. (UNI)
