Visakhapatnam: Prayaas Program launched in HPCL
Visakhapatnam, Sept 30 : The Prayas scheme, rolled out by the Government of India, was formally launched by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) at Visakhapatnam refinery here today.
Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Vijay Kumar Prasad himself handed over the PPO documents to the employees, who have completed 58 years of age in HPCL in the presence of HPCL General Manager (HR) K Nagesh.
On the occasion, Vijay Kumar Prasad appreciated the initiative taken by HPCL to provide PPO documents for starting monthly pension payment to employees in the same month in which they completed 58 years. RPF commissioner further stated to achieve this objective HPCL has invested a lot of efforts in establishing processes and systems and left no stone unturned in reaching out to employees which is very commendable and worth emulating.
HPCL Visakhapatnam Refinery is the first company in the city to carry out this program.
Nagesh said, “We aim to be accountable at work and provide prompt services.” Employees will be provided with every benefit they need in a timely manner.
HPCL employees SC Panja, P Srinivasa Rao, BS Muralikrishna, HPCL officials, HPCL union leaders MM Naidu and KN Satyanarayana were present on the occasion.(UNI)
