Mumbai Sep 30 :Advocate Nitin Satpute, who is representing people in several high-profile cases was attacked by a group of people near his resident in Mahim area of central Mumbai today morning.
Sources said that he was being treated at Sion hospital here and that the attackers are known to him, with whom Satpute had enmity with.
Satpute had earlier represented actor Tanushree Dutta, when she filed a case of molestation against actor Nana Patekar, and the family of Dr Payal Tadvi, a resident doctor at Nair Hospital, who committed suicide after allegedly being harassed by three of her seniors.
Police have registered a case and investigations have been taken up.(UNI)
