Hyderabad, Sep 29 : Major General RK Singh, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub area and Patron of Army Public School (APS) Golconda, Hyderabad felicitated the quiz team of APS for their outstanding performance in the Southern Command quiz Competition.

It was an inter-school competition where six teams participated comprising three students in each team.

The quiz consisted of six rounds and each round was a mixed bag with questions from different fields.

APS Golconda was represented by Parnika Shrivastava from class XII, Prakhar Singh from class X and Rushil Mohan from class X. Though the questions were intriguing, the versatile quizzers answered confidently and skillfully.

As a result, APS Golconda won the Southern Command quiz competition by a huge margin and thus reserved their position in the National Level Quiz competition scheduled to be held in the month of November.

The students were presented a Tablet PC for their exemplary performance.

General Singh congratulated the students on their diligence and team work and wished them success in the next round of quizzing and motivated them to continue with the winning spree.

The event ended on a happy note as the formidable quiz team of APS Golconda geared up for the National Level quiz competition, a defence release said.(UNI)
