Int’l charter flights will start soon: Goa CM
Panaji, Sep 27 : Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that international chartered flights will start soon in the state.
Speaking to reporters after a government function, he said the domestic and international tourists would be confident of traveling to the coastal state after October 31, as the state would be 100 percent vaccinated.
He said the government had sought permission for starting chartered flights.
Earlier this month, the state government had written to the Union Home Ministry seeking permission to resume international chartered flights.
According to the government’s statistics, the state had attracted eight million tourists before. (UNI)
