COVID-19: Goa reports 74 new cases, 4 deaths
Panaji, Sep 26: Goa reported 74 new cases of COVID-19 and four deaths during the last 24 hours, the health department said today.
According to the daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with these new cases, the cumulative number of infections in the state increased to 1,76,095, while the death toll climbed to 3,303.
Ninety-eight more recoveries were also reported during the past 24 hours, taking the number of those recovered in the state to 1,71,874.
The recovery rate in the state currently stands at 97.60 percent.
On Sunday, 64 patients have advised of home isolation, 10 were admitted to hospitals while seven were discharged.
As many as 4852 new samples were tested on Sunday, taking the number of tests in the state to 13,34,309.
The number of active cases in the state currently stands at 918. (UNI)
