Mumbai, Sep 24 : In the past 24 hours, Maharashtra reported 3,286 new COVID-19 cases and 51 fatalities, stated an official health bulletin today.
With the new additions, the state’s cumulative case tally rose to 65,37,843 while the death toll soared to 1,38,774.
Meanwhile, 3,933 people were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 63,57,012.
The state’s recovery rate shot up to 97.23per cent while the fatality rate was steady at 2.12 per cent.
There are now 38,491 active cases in the state, bulletin added.(UNI)
