Chandigarh, Sep 23:The Punjab school education department has decided to conduct a training program for teachers from September 28 to educate them regarding the techniques of teaching.
Stating this here today, a spokesperson of the department said that this training is being imparted to the teachers to strengthen their grip on their subjects. The one-day training program of newly recruited 1137 English and 425 Mathematics teachers will be held on September 28. This training will be conducted at the district level.
Similarly, a total of 113 newly appointed and promoted Mathematics lecturers will be trained on September 29 and 30 at RICM, Sector 32 in Chandigarh, he added.
He said the officers have been directed to comply with the instructions issued by the health department regarding COVID-19 during the training. (UNI)
