Thane, Sep 23: The Thane police registered a case of gang rape against unknown persons here today.
The police said that they have launched a search for those involved in the incident.
According to the SHO at the Manpada police station of Dombivili in the Kalyan division, the victim aged around 15 was repeatedly raped by the accused persons.
The police said that offenses under section 376 of the IPC and also the POCSO Act has been registered against the accused.
It was immediately not known as to how many people are involved in this heinous crime.
