Ram Temple at Ayodhya to open for the public by Dec 2023
Ayodhya, Sep 16: The grand Ram Temple at Ayodhya will be opened for the public by December 2023, said Shree Ramjanambhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust officials here Today.
Trust’s general secretary Champat Rai said that the work of filling the foundation for the construction of the Ram temple is in the final stage. Till now 46 layers have been completed out of the total 48. After completion of the layers, a raft will be built.
Mr. Rai said that by December 2023, devotees will start getting Ramlala’s darshan in the temple.
“The temple will be three-storey which will have Ramlala in the sanctum sanctorum while Lord Ram’s court will sit on the second floor. The temple will be built in 6 and a half acres of area.
Mr. Rai said that the supply blockade regarding the stones of Bansi Paharpur from Rajasthan has been cleared. The arrival of stones will start in November. Three types of stones will be used in the temple.
The entire work done so far for the construction of the Ram temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi was made public by the trust and the team of engineers by inviting the media on Thursday.
They were apprised about the progress of Ram temple construction.
Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing for the Ramlila, to be played by the Bollywood actors from October 6 to 15.
Ayodhya’s Ramlila President Subhash Malik said here that this time Ramlila will be shown in many countries and it will be broadcast live in 26 languages.
He said that Ramlila will be broadcast live daily from October 6 to 15 from 7 pm to 10 pm. Ramlila would be performed by Bollywood stars in the Laxman Fort temple complex located on the Saryu ghat.
This time too, spectators will not be allowed to view Ramlila physically due to Covid protocol.
Mr. Malik said that suggestions are also being taken from the saints and religious leaders regarding Ramlila of Ayodhya. (UNI)
