Hyderabad, Sep 16: Telangana recorded 259 covid-19 cases and one death Today even as the number of active cases in the state stood at 5,282.
The total count of cases since the beginning of the pandemic last year stands at 6,62,785 and the death toll is 3,900, the state medical and health department said in its bulletin here.
The case fatality rate stands at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is 98.61 percent.
Of the total positive cases registered in 29 out of 33 districts in the state on Thursday, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation recorded 72 cases followed by 22 in Khammam, 16 in Warangal Urban, 15 in Rangareddy among other districts.
Currently, there are no micro containment zones anywhere in the state. (UNI)
