Mangaluru, Sep 13: Customs officials have seized gold worth Rs 5.58 lakh from a Dubai passenger attempting to smuggle it.
Officials said Today that the accused passenger tried to smuggle gold concealing in the heater element of the egg cooker machine.
A case has been booked against the passenger by the customs department. (UNI)
