Kochi, Sep 2 :Kochi Corporation Mayor Advocate M Anilkumar Today received a letter from Taliban threatening to crush his limbs.

The letter written in Malayalam, posted from Kozhikode with a from address of Chief Commander of Taliban Fakhruddin Al-Thani, was delivered to the Mayor’s office on Wednesday.

The letter also had the photos of Osama Bin Laden and others was handed over to the City Police Commissioner on Thursday for a detailed probe, the Mayor said.

The LDF parliamentary party secretary Benedict Fernandes has filed a complaint before the City Police Commissioner seeking investigation on the threat.

The letter, which warned against publishing his photos in newspapers, said he will be paraded naked through Kochi beach.

“If you continue to publish photos in newspapers, your limbs will be crushed,” the letter warned. (UNI)
