Kadapa Spt 2 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with his family members, paid rich tributes to his father and late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at YSR ghat at Idupulapaya village in this district on his death anniversary Today.
Mr Reddy, his wife Y S Bharati, Mother Y S Vijayalakshmi, sister Y S Sharmila and other family members placed flowers on the tomb of Rajasekhara Reddy and paid tributes.
They also participated in the special prayers held at the ghat.
The Chief Minister also garlanded the statue of Rajasekhara Reddy.
Mr Reddy tweeted “Even though my father was physically away for 12 years, he is still remembered in the hearts of the people as a man and a member of their family.
Dad’s inspiration is at the forefront of every step I take and every thought I make”.
Deputy Chief Minister SB Amzath Basha, TTD board chairman Y S Subba Reddy, Chief Whip G Srikanth Reddy among a host of YSRCP leaders who were present.
It may be mentioned here that the late Chief Minister of the undivided Andhra Pradesh was killed in a helicopter crash on September 2, 2009.(UNI)
