Thane, Sep 2 : Thane in Maharashtra registered as many as 268 new Covid-19 cases and six deaths in the past 24 hours, health authorities said here Today.
With this, a total number of cases have spiked to 5,51,712 and fatalities have reached to 11,295.
The mortality rate was 2.04 per cent, he added.
In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 1,34,588, while the death toll is 3,293 he said.(UNI)
