Aurangabad, Aug 27 :The Marathwada region of Maharashtra recorded 196 new COVID-19 cases and 5 deaths during the past 24 hours, health authorities informed Today.

The district headquarters report stated that of eight districts, Beed was the worst-affected district with 105 cases and 2 deaths, followed by Osmanabad 43 cases and 2 deaths, Aurangabad 20 cases and one death, Latur 22 cases, Nanded 3 cases and Jalna, Parbhani and Hingoli districts recorded one case each, the report said .(UNI)
