Sangli, Aug 25 : Sangli Today reported 498 new cases of COVID-19 while 16 people lost their lives, the authorities said in a health bulletin.
The fresh addition took the district tally to 190073 while the death toll soared to 5005.
As many as 545 people were discharged during the day, taking the recovery count to 180930.
The district currently houses 4138 active cases and out of them total 578 positive patients were in serious condition.(UNI)
