Bengaluru, Jul 30: Karnataka has reported as many as 1,890 fresh cases of the Covid-19 in the

last 24-hours, taking the total number of people infected from the pandemic disease so far in the state

to 29,03,137 on Friday.

According to official sources, as many as 1,631 covid-19 patients, got discharged after being completely cured from the disease, and there are 23,478 active cases across the state.

The sources said that as many as 34 persons had succumbed to the pandemic, on Friday, taking the total number of fatalities due to the covid-19 disease, so far to 36,525.

In the last 24-hours as many as 1,45,197 persons had undergone for the covid-19 tests, and the positivity rate for the day stood at 1.30 percent and the case mortality rate accounted for 1.79 percent, the sources added.(UNI)
