Aurangabad, Jul 28 :AIMIM activists and sports enthusiasts here on Tuesday staged agitation against the state government’s decision to shift the proposed international sports university to Pune.
Led by city AIMIM chief Shariq Nasakabandi, the agitators gathered in front of the Collectorate and sloganeered against CM Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar.
Commenting on the matter, Mr Nakshabandi said, “The International Sports University was proposed to be built in Aurangabad and a place has also been fixed for it.”

He continued, “The MVA government is not serious about developmental issues of peoples of backward Marathwada region while Pune is already a well-developed city.”
“Also, a number of offices have been shifted from here to other places,” he added.
