Panaji, Jul 28 : Goa reported 81 new cases of Covid 19 and two deaths during the last 24 hours.
According to a daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, the number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,70,810 while the number of total deaths increased to 3142.
There were 127 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,66,586.
Recovery rate in the state improved to 97.53 per cent.
On Wednesday, 57 patients were sent for home isolation, 14 were admitted to hospitals while 24 were discharged.
As many as 4210 new samples were tested on Wednesday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 10,43,121.
The number of active cases in the state decreased to 1082.(UNI)
