Hyderabad, Jul 13: Telangana’s cumulative COVID-19 cases reached 6,33,146 with 767 new confirmed infection cases recorded Today.

After 3 people died of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the death toll has risen to 3738 till date translating a case fatality rate of 0.59 percent as against the countrywide mortality rate of 1.3 percent, according to the bulletin issued by the Office of the Director Public Health and Family Welfare here today.

As many as 848 people have recovered from coronavirus statewide as of Tuesday to take the overall number of recoveries to 6, 19,344 constituting a recovery rate of 97.82 percent while the national recovery rate was 97.24 percent.

The active cases in the state currently stand at 10,064, the bulletin said.

In all, 1, 18,778 samples were tested in the state during the last 24 hours to detect the contagious virus out of which the results of 1,237 swab samples are awaited.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic 1, 99,84,746 COVID-19 tests have been carried out in the state so far. (UNI)
