Hyderabad, Jul 6 : Hyderabad City Congress Committee (HCCC) Minorities Department Chairman Sameer Waliullah on Tuesday said that that a huge rally would be taken out from Peddama Temple at Jubilee Hills to Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday on the occasion of the swearing-in ceremony of Revanth Reddy as the new Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President.
Speaking to media persons after reviewing the arrangements along with TPCC Spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin and Organising Secretary Osman Mohammed Khan, Mr Waliullah said Revanth Reddy would be accorded a grand welcome by the minorities when he reaches Masab Tank crossroads at around 11 am.
Later, Mr Reddy will proceed to Dargah Yousufain via Vijaya Nagar Colony and Bazar Ghat crossroads.
“The new TPCC President, along with other leaders, will give ‘Hazari’ and present a ‘chader’ at Dargah Yousufain at 12 noon tomorrow before proceeding to Gandhi Bhavan to take charge.
I appeal to all minorities to participate in the historic rally and make it a grand success,” Mr Sameer Waliullah said.(UNI)
