Hyderabad, Jul 4: BJP Telangana unit President Bandi Sanjay Kumar, MP on Sunday exuded confidence over the party win in the Huzurabad byelection to be held in the coming months.

Speaking at the Huzurabad election preparatory meeting held at BJP state headquarters here, Mr Kumar asked the party cadre to work hard for the victory of former Minister Etela Rajender.

Alleging that the TRS hatched a conspiracy and attempting to win the Huzurabad byelection by spending crores of rupees, he claimed that the people of the state were opposing Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

The Lok Sabha MP said that the party will conduct Padayatra across the state from August 9 protesting against the dictatorship rule of Mr Chandrashekar Rao.

BJP leader and Incharge of Telangana Tarun Chugh, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishna Reddy, BJP National Vice President D K Aruna, Mr Etela Rajender, Raja Singh, MLA, BJP National General Secretary Muralidhar Rao and among others participated in the meeting.(UNI)
