CR train services suspended due to stranded gas tanker in Thane
Thane, Jul 5:The train services between Kalyan and Kasara stations on the north-bound Central Railway were suspended for over two hours after a gas tanker was stuck on the railway tracks.
It was at around 2000 hours the gas tanker was stuck at the level-crossing between Asangaon and Atgaon railway stations, the officials said.
Firemen from Bhiwandi rushed to the spot and removed the stranded tanker by the side of road with the help of cranes.
With the help of road cranes, the tanker removed from track and the rail services were resumed at night at around 2130 hrs.
No one was injured in the process, officials added.(UNI)
