Mumbai, Jul 2 : The BSE Sensex Today slid by 110.13 pts at 52,208.47 in opening trade as selling was seen in Telecom, Utilities, Auto and IT stocks.

The Nifty too eased by 15.30 pts to 15,664.70.

The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 52,436.83 and 52,200.47 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 15,711.20 and 15,649.60 pts respectively.

The Mid Cap fell by 0.13 pc while Small Cap rose by 0.58 pc.

In 30 scrips, 11 advanced while 19 declined.

The losers were Infosys by 1.05 pc to Rs 1544, Tech Mahindra by 0.82 pc to Rs 1076.25, HCL Technology by 0.71 pc to Rs 978.65 and Powergrid by 0.56 pc to Rs 229.60.

The gainers were NTPC by 0.90 pc to Rs 118.30, ICICI Bank by 0.75 pc to Rs 635.35, M& M by 0.66 pc to Rs 784.40 and Reliance Industries by 0.56 pc to Rs 2109.40.(UNI)
