AP Cabinet approves establishment of Kadaknath breed poultry farm

Vijayawada, June 30 : The Andhra Pradesh state Cabinet, which met here on Wednesday chaired by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, approved for the establishment of Kadaknath breed poultry farm at Utukuru village in Kadapa district with a target of producing 20,000 Kadaknath breed chicken.
The Cabinet also approved the construction of EPCL terminal and LNG station and other development works in the Kakinada deep sea water port at a cost of Rs.3600 crore in the first phase. The project would generate 700 jobs.
The Cabinet also approved the construction of 1,262 godowns on the lines of Rythu Bharosa Kendras. The Cabinet approved the setting up of 6 Rythu bazars at a cost of Rs.45 crore.
The Cabinet has given its nod for the setting up of tele-medicine call centres for the livestock health protection at a cost of Rs.7.53 crore. The Cabinet also approved to establish 53 veterinary hospitals and dispensaries for rural livestock health protection at a cost of Rs.31.74 crore.
The Cabinet approved to allocate 175 mobile veterinary ambulances to 175 Assembly constituencies. The mobile veterinary ambulance would be used to shift sick livestock to the veterinary hospitals for treatment.
The Cabinet approved to set up Reddy, Kamma and Kshatriya corporations, establish Andhra Kesari University in Prakasham district. The Cabinet has given its nod for the 2021-24 IT policy and for the construction of three concept cities.
The Cabinet approved the Rs.864.18 crore projects under which water would be supplied in Puttaparthi constituency in Anantapur district by filling up 195 irrigation tanks through lift irrigation, drawing water at gravity from the HNSS project.(UNI)
