Thane, Jun 30 : Two teenage boys are feared drowned in a lake in Bhiwandi town of the district on Wednesday.
A group of four friends from Bhiwandi went for a swim to the lake at Mhaskarpada of Pogaon this evening at around 1800 hours, an official said.
There, two of them jumped into the water and were drowned.
They were identified as Mohammad Yasim Mohammad Ismail Shakh (15, of Shanti Nagar) and Mohammad Imran Vakil Ahmed Khan (18, of Gayatri Nagar).

A team of the Bhiwandi taluka police and the local firemen carried out the search for their bodies for two hours but to no avail.
Later the search operation was suspended until tomorrow morning due to darkness, sources added.(UNI)
