Lucknow, Jun 30: Uttar Pradesh recorded 165 fresh Covid-19 cases and 292 recoveries in the past 24 hours, State Additional Chief Secretary (Information), Navneet Sehgel said here Today.

With continuous efforts, the pandemic situation in the state is under control and the infection rate is at a minimum, he claimed.

He said at present there are 2,796 corona active patients in the state of which 1,810 were in home isolation.

The number of people who have recovered from corona in the state has gone up to 16,80,720. The state’s Covid recovery rate has gone up to 98.5 per cent, while the positivity rate was found to be 0.06 per cent in the last 24 hours.

Till now 5,78,44,027 tests have been conducted in the state. In the last 24 hours, 2,57,818 Covid tests were carried out.(UNI)
