Bengaluru, Jun 30 : Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa Today extended wishes to Bharat Ratna recipient scientist CNR Rao on his birthday.

Mr Yediyurappa took to twitter to extend his wishes.

“Warm greetings to Bharat Ratna Prof. CNR Rao on his birthday. A world-renowned scientist, his feats in the field of science are an inspiration for young science enthusiasts. Praying for his long and healthy life,” the CM tweeted.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr Ashwathnarayna also wished Mr Rao on his birthday.

Professor Rao and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar were conferred with the Bharat Ratna in 2014.(UNI)
