Hyderabad, Jun 30 : Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next five days, Meteorological Centre said Today.
In a bulletin here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in Rayalaseema of Andhra Pradesh on July 1, 2 3 & 4 and in all the districts of Telangana on July 1.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Mancherial, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban), Jangaon of Telangana during the next 24 hours.
Heavy rain is likely to occur in isolated areas in the districts of Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda of Telangana during the next 48 hours.
Heavy Rain is likely to occur at one or two places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on July 1 & 2 and in Rayalaseema on July 1.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at few places or at isolated places in Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.
The Southwest Monsoon has been weak in Telangana.
Heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Krishna district of Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the same period, the bulletin added.(UNI)
