Two injured in leopard attack in Aurangabad
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jun 20 : Two people were injured after being attacked by a leopard at Wakla village in Vaijapur taluka of district Today.
The leopard strayed into the historical dome area of Wakla village in Vaijapur taluka, about 75 km from here, this morning.
As the villagers gathered in large numbers to see it, the big cat attacked two of the onlookers, injuiring them, reports said.
Injured people have been admitted to the primary health centre at Loni Khurd in the taluka for treatment.
They have been identified as Chandrakant Jadhav and Balu Shejwal (both of Wakla, Vaijapur).
Following the incident, the villagers have asked the Forest department at Vaijapur to trap the leopard.(UNI)
