Panaji, Jun 20 :Goa reported 207 new cases of Covid 19 and six deaths during the last 24 hours.
According to daily bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,64,436 while number of total deaths shot up to 2,990.
There were 406 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,58,178.
Recovery rate in the state improved to 96.19 per cent.
On Sunday, 180 patients were sent for home isolation, 27 were admitted to hospitals while 45 were discharged.
As many as 2442 new samples were tested on Sunday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 8,88,422.
The number of active cases in the state decreased to 3268.(UNI)
