COVID: J&K reports 1895 new COVID cases, 32 deaths

Jammu, Jun 1 :Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday informed that 1895 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (633 from Jammu division and 1,262 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases across the Union Territory to 2,92,360.
Also 32 deaths have been reported,17 from Jammu division and 15 from Kashmir division.
Moreover, 3,682 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged from various hospitals including 1,448 from Jammu division and 2,234 from Kashmir division.
According to the daily medical bulletin on novel coronavirus, out of 2,92,360 positive cases, 33,276 are Active Positive, 2,55,145 have recovered and 3,939 have died; 1,925 in Jammu division and 2014 in Kashmir division.
The bulletin further said that out of 86,05,273 test results available, 83,12,913 samples have been tested as negative till June 1, 2021.
Till date 21,00,700 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 82,467 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 33,276 in isolation and 1,46,091in home surveillance.
Besides, 18,34,927 persons have completed their surveillance period.(UNI)
