Bengaluru, Jun 10 :Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) here for figuring in Qs world university global ranking.

In a tweet last night, Modi greeted IISc, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, IIT Delhi and said efforts are underway to ensure more Universities and Institutions of India scale global excellence and support intellectual powers among this youth.

Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa congratulated IISc for being world’s top research Institute in the Qs world university rankings and said the IISc makes every Indian proud.

In his greetings, he said that the imparting world-class education & facilitating cutting-edge research in science, technology and engineering, the institute makes every Indian proud.(UNI)
