Udupi, Jun 8:A local court here Today handed down life imprisonment to the three accused in the landmark Bhaskar Shetty murder case of 2016.
Judge J S Subramanya awarded life imprisonment to the industrialist’s wife Rajeshwari Shetty, son Navneet Shetty and astrologer Niranjan Bhat.
However, one Raghuvendra, who was accused of destroying evidence in the case, has been acquitted by the Court.

Special Government Prosecutor Shantaram Shetty presented arguments.
Prime accused of the case, Rajeshwari Shetty is currently out on bail while Navneet and Niranjan are lodged in Bengaluru jail.
Niranjan Bhat’s father Srinivas Bhat, another accused of destroying evidence, died during the investigation. He had secured bail in the case.(UNI)
