Hyderabad, May 29 :Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Friday said that the lockdown guidelines was being strictly enforced by the police in the city since the last 17 days.

Talking to media, Mr Kumar who visited Old City along with Additional Police Commissioner Chowhan to supervise the implementation of lockdown said that 99 per cent of the people have extended their cooperation by staying at home. Only one per cent of people were violating lockdown norms. Cases were booked against them, he said.

He said that 184 check posts were set up in Hyderabad Police Commissionarate and lockdown guidelines are being monitored by the Police 24×7 here.

Stating that 9,000 cases have been booked every day for violating the lockdown guidelines, the Police Commissioner said 6,000 vehicles were seized on the same reason.(UNI)
