Vijayawada, May 26 :Andhra Pradesh reported 18,285 fresh positive cases of Coronavirus in a period of 24 hours while 99 more patients died.

A health bulletin here Today said that 91,120 swab samples were diagnosed in a period of 24 hours ending at 9 am today of which 18,285 were tested positive for Coronavirus while 99 more patients died.

The pandemic has claimed the lives of 10,427 patients so far. There are 1,92,104 active cases in the state while 24,105 patients recovered in a period of 24 hours.

Highest number of 3,296 fresh cases was registered in East Godavari district. The total number of cases has risen to 16,27,390 while 14,24,859 patients have been discharged from various hospitals as they recovered. So far 1,88,40,321 swab samples have been diagnosed in the state.(UNI)
