Hyderabad, May 24 : Telangana Principal Secretary (MA&UD) Arvind Kumar made a surprise visit to Panjagutta and Bansilalpet cremation grounds here Today.

Mr Kumar’s visit was to examine whether the public are made to pay more than the prescribed rates for cremating the bodies, including the COVID victims.

He expressed satisfaction over the prescribed rates being followed.

The MA&UD Principal Secretary said that Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) employees are stationed at cremation centres to check if public are being forced to pay more rates.(UNI)
