Thane, May 22 : With 887 new Covid cases in last 24 hours, COVID tally has reached to 5,07,316 in Thane district, an official said today.

As the virus claimed 61 in last 24 hours, a total number of fatalities have reached to 8768.

The mortality rate was 1.72 per cent, he added.

In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 1,06,038 while the death toll was 1,974 he said.(UNI)
