Jammu, May 20 :The District administration Samba in collaboration with the Department of AYUSH has intensified the supply of its proven polyherbal Ayurvedic medicines across the district for effectively boosting the immune system and post-covid-care for out-of-hospital patients.
Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta Today while informing about the initiatives taken under AYUSH, said that the Ministry of AYUSH has launched a massive campaign to distribute its clinically proven Ayurvedic Medicines to benefit the vast majority of out of hospital COVID patients.
The DC said the district administration has set up various ayurvedic camps for the distribution of AYUSH Medicines which helps in boosting the immune system.
She said that 50,000 beneficiaries have been provided with free Ayush medicines in different Ayush medical camps for tackling Covid-19.
The district nodal officer ISM, Vikram Singh Jamwal said the department of Ayush has set up camps at the DC office, SSP Office, PHCs, CHCs, District hospital, dispensaries, Revenue Offices, Police Offices, covid care centres and other places for distribution of Ayush medicines.
He said members of Panchayati Raj institutions and urban local bodies are also roped in for the distribution of medicines in the interior of district Samba.(UNI)
