Haryana registers 7,488 COVID-19 cases, 114 deaths
Chandigarh, May 17 : Haryana on Monday registered 7,488 Covid-19 positive cases and 114 deaths while new recoveries were 14,279.
The overall count has reached 7,01,915 cases, 6,11,955 recoveries, 6,799 deaths and 83,161 active cases in the state. A total of 76,310 active cases are under home isolation while others are on ventilator or oxygen support systems in various Covid care centres and medical colleges across the state.
Among new deaths, 13 were from Gurugram, 10 from Ambala, 9 from Panchkula, 8 from Panipat, 7 each from Faridabad, Hisar and Karnal, 6 each from Rewari, Jind and Bhiwani, 5 each from Rohtak and Jhajjar, 4 each from Sonipat and Sirsa, 3 each from Fatehabad and Kaithal, two each from Kurukshetra, Mahindergarh, Yamunanagar, Charkhi Dadri and Nuh and one death from Palwal district.
Gurugram again recorded maximum 1176 fresh cases, followed by Hisar 830, Faridabad 506, Mahindergarh 469, Bhiwani 446, Sonipat 430, Panipat 371, Rohtak 357, Yamunanagar 310, Ambala 293, Jhajjar 288, Karnal 258, Fatehabad 253, Sirsa 248, Palwal 244, Panchkula 241, Rewari 182, Jind 157, Kurukshetra 150, Kaithal 124, Charkhi Dadri 104 and 51 new cases in Nuh district today.(UNI)
