Hyderabad, May 16 : The second dose of Covaxin vaccination drive for persons above 45-years old was postponed due to inadequate stock and non-receipt of fresh stocks from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The indigenous Covaxin vaccine was developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech.
Details regarding resumption of vaccination drive will be made available subsequently, state Public Health Department Director Dr. Srinivasa Rao said in a statement here today.(UNI)
